About Susanna

I have a great love of children and many years of experience in childcare and teaching, including 10 years as a nanny. I cultivate the attitude of reverence which Rudolph Steiner, the founder of Waldorf Education, said is the most essential element in the care of children. As Aftercare Director for a full-immersion Spanish language pre-school, working with ages 2. 5-6. I created a unique curriculum founded Virtues, shared in stories then expressed in acting, songs, painting, clay, crafts, and creative movement. I have WECAN and NAYEC approved Early Childhood certification. I completed teacher training for the grades with Millennial Child and Christopherus Homeschool Education. Helping children to engage the world in meaningful ways has become my deep passion. I would be delighted to share that love of learning with your children.
