I am a talented Professional Nanny, with diverse experiences in planning and implementing various activities for promoting; physical, social/emotional, and intellectual growth of the children in my care. I have years of experience creating loving, nurturing, and safe environments, for the families that I work with. I have a great ability to observe and assess, the needs, of the children and the households, in which I have worked. What I believe is most important, is maintaining a positive and flexible attitude in regard to, schedule, culture, and family values.
Susan has been our family’s trusted and cherished nanny for the past two years. Susan has a warm demeanor, decades of experience with children, and a degree in Early Childhood Education—all of which make her the ideal nanny! She not only understands the developmental needs of infants and toddlers, but she has made us feel supported and reassured as new parents doing all of this for the first time. One of the most impactful contributions Susan made to our family was helping our son learn to sleep peacefully through the night, starting when he was around five months old. Her deep understanding of infant sleep routines made a world of difference for our us. She honed in on the exact amounts of daytime food and naps our son needed to still enable him to sleep 12 solid hours overnight. We were truly amazed at how smoothly the transition went with her support. When the time came to introduce solid foods, Susan supported us in following the baby-led weaning method. She was knowledgeable, patient, and enthusiastic about helping our son explore new tastes and textures, while always prioritizing his safety. We fully trust Susan to set our son’s weekly activity schedule based on what suits his interests, energy, and developmental needs—and she’s truly wonderful at it. She strikes a thoughtful balance between structure and flexibility, ensuring each week is rich with meaningful experiences. Together they attend regular music and art classes, enjoy baking in our kitchen, spend plenty of time in free play, and read together daily. It’s a well-rounded and engaging routine that our son looks forward to and thrives in. Overall, Susan has helped us create an environment that nurtures our son’s curiosity, creativity, and confidence. He is absolutely thriving, and we’ve loved watching him grow into such a happy, healthy, expressive little person in her care. Our decision to transition away from needing a nanny is due solely to changes in our work schedules, and in no way reflects on Susan's performance. We will truly miss her, and we feel incredibly lucky to have had her love and support these last few years. We would recommend Susan wholeheartedly to any family. She is a gem, and any household would be fortunate to have her.
