About Karisa

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Karisa. She babysat my two children, both of whom have autism, and her care was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment she arrived, Karisa was calm, attentive, and fully engaged. She didn’t just “watch” my children—she truly connected with them. Karisa spent the entire time interacting meaningfully, playing, redirecting, and keeping both kids actively involved in ways that respected their individual needs. What impressed me most was her ability to manage challenging behaviors and prevent meltdowns with such skill and compassion. She remained calm, patient, and thoughtful through every tough moment, helping my children regulate and feel safe. She intuitively knew how to create a supportive environment and never once seemed overwhelmed. Her ability to anticipate triggers, communicate clearly, and stay grounded made a world of difference—not only for my kids, but for my peace of mind as a parent. Karisa is a rare and exceptional caregiver, and anyone would be lucky to have her care for their children. We’re so grateful for her presence and can’t wait to welcome her back!
