About Susan

I am a retired 4th/5th grade Boston Public School teacher primarily interested in working with elementary students who are homeschooled. Empowering students to reach their full potential has been the cornerstone of my career as a Certified teacher. I believe every student possesses unique strengths, and I tailor my approach by incorporating visual aids, hands-on activities, and targeted practice to match a child's specific learning style. Whether we are tackling complex math concepts or building foundational skills, I maintain a supportive environment by celebrating small victories and offering consistent positive reinforcement. I prioritize clear, open communication with both the student and family to ensure we remain aligned on your goals. Witnessing a student's confidence soar as they master a challenging topic remains the most rewarding part of my work. I look forward to working with your child to help him/her achieve their scademic best.
