I recently moved to be closer to my family in SLO from Georgia in May 2023. My current experience with a new born sweet boy starting at six weeks and his 3-year-old sister. I currently am taking care of a sweet girl from 6 weeks til she enters daycare the end of October 2025. I also have raised two beautiful children and 5 grandchildren. I also have taken care of multiple babies over the past few years. Since retiring I have time and love having children in my life. I find such joy in watching and guiding a child to be healthy, happy and active. A child with a good routine is a Happy well balanced child. My children have shown me that :-)

Susan has been an absolute blessing for our family. She has taken wonderful care of our 3-month-old baby with so much love, patience, and attention. From the very beginning, she made us feel completely at ease - she’s reliable, nurturing, and incredibly knowledgeable about infant care.

Our baby lights up around her, which says everything about the warmth and trust she brings. Susan goes above and beyond, not only ensuring our baby is safe and well cared for but also engaging with her in ways that support her development. She has a calm, gentle presence that gives us peace of mind whenever our baby is in her care.

We feel so fortunate to have found Susan, and we couldn’t recommend her more highly to any family looking for a kind, dependable, and devoted care taker.

Susan began taking care of our baby at 10 weeks old and she has been an incredible caretaker. She is warm, kind, attentive, gentle, playful and interactive with our little girl. Not only does she foster our daughter’s development, but her experience with her own children, grandchildren and other babies has also guided us as new parents. She’s been an overall wonderful person to have in our home and we are forever grateful to her. She would be a phenomenal addition to any family. 

Susan has not only been an incredible caregiver to our new baby, but she has taken care of us all too! As moms, we are always multi-tasking with a long to-do list. Susan has become a part of our family, helping anticipate my needs as well as my children's. I feel so comfortable with her, and enjoy spending time with her when she isn't taking care of my baby:) Anyone who hires Susan is so lucky, we are infinitely grateful to have found her!

Susan was our near-full time nanny helping us bridge the gap between end of maternity leave and start of daycare.  At the interview she was immediately loving towards our daughter, which endeared her to me.  She was always on time, adhered to the baby's schedule, figured out how to stretch her nap time, took her for stroller walks, read to her and played with her.  She helped me transition to giving our daughter the two bottles a day that she needed to take to start daycare.  Our daughter was always happy to see her.

She helped with household items: closet organization, sorted hand me down baby clothes, packed holiday decorations, laundry, and dishes.  Great peace of mind for me as I returned to work.

After speaking to her on the phone initially, I double checked her profile as we wanted a nonsmoker and her voice has that classic husky tone.  Through our discussions I learned that she's a former smoker.  I can attest that she doesn't smoke as she was with us up to 8 hours per day.

Our daughter fell in love with Susan immediately.  She is very attentive to actually playing with our daughter, not just giving her things to do.  Susan also asks all of the right questions to make sure she is "parenting" the same way our family would want.  Though we try to stay consistent and respectful of Susan's time, she has been very flexible with some changes in schedule.  She has always been dependable too.

Susan has been great! Our daughter loves her. She is dependable, has been flexible when needed, and very attentive. She keeps our little one busy reading books, doing crafts, and laughing. She has been a great addition to our family routine.

Susan is very attentive and caring to our little ones!  She is great about interacting with our two year old daughter by reading books and encouraging clean up after play.  She is also wonderful with our newborn son.  She will do housework if we use her for a full day.  She is a great caregiver and we highly recommend her!

Susan and I had agreed upon a time to meet for an interview. One hour prior to the interview she let me know what not only would she not be coming that day, but now had a full time job and would not be available. My only issue is that I have a limited timeline to procure childcare and this set me back and put me in a bad position. I can understand something unexpected, but it was poor planning and unprofessional. 

Susan provided all day care (4 days/week) for our newborn daughter from the time she was born until she turned one.  She would still be our nanny if we wouldn't have moved, she is an AMAZING care giver.  Susan was always on time and was always willing to stay late if needed.  My wife and I were always amazed by the level of detail we received regarding our daughter's daily activity.  Susan is so sweet and we recommended her to prominent families in the Decatur area.  I know several families ended up employing her and had nothing but great things to say.  Susan was also willing to baby sit when ever available which created a great continuity for our family.  Susan was always prompt to reply to any communication.  A fabulous lady and I feel so lucky we had her for the time we did... we MISS you Susan, wish you would move to California!

Susan cared for my daughter from 3 months old to 12 months old when I returned to work. She was wonderful in every way and eased my nerves as I left my baby for the first time. She was dependable and punctual every time. She was flexible with her schedule if I needed to stay late at work or work an additional day. She was very thorough and communicated info about how much my daughter ate, napped, and kept her on her schedule. Most importantly, she connected with and loved on my daughter. She consoled her, played with her, read to her and cared for her as she would her own. There is not one negative thing I could say about Susan and if we hadn't moved out of state, she would still be caring for my daughter. 

Susan has been an amazing nanny for our now 5 month old daughter! She has taken wonderful care of her and helped our family so much. We are first time parents and Susan's experience has given us such piece of mind. She plays with our daughter and takes her on regular walks. She engages her and encourages her to experience new things. We are so thankful to have her!
