I cared for a friends mother in law that quickly became my grandmother for 5 years until she passed on. I am 62 and love older people. I understand how important it is for them to be happy and live a fulfilled life even when they are handicapped. Everyone needs a friend. I love to care for others and make a difference in another life. I have been taking care of a lady with Alzheimer s. I spent 4 hours twice a week. I took her to run errands and lunch. She is moving to California for summer. I would like to find someone else to care for. It is just me and my husband so I have time to help someone and be a friend. My husband has been ill for several years and doing his daily medication.
