About Summer

I have been working with young children of varying ability levels since I was 13 years old. I have taught in a preschool setting with 2-year-old children for 4 years. I was a nanny for 5 years. I have run an equestrian program for special needs children for 10 years. My favorite place to be is sitting on the floor singing or reading with children. I create curriculum, plan crafts, plan outings, plan science experiments, plan cooking experiences, and many other activities designed to enrich children's minds. My experience with special needs children and toddlers enables to develop positive reinforcement behavior plans to ensure children learn coping strategies and ways to learn self control in a positive way. My joy is to watch children at any level grow and develop.
