I have worked with children for the past 10 years, and I have three boys myself who I adore, and I believe I have a strong positive relationship with them. I have experience with ages 0 months to teenage years. I worked for a child development center for 3 years, and I worked at my own Spanish immersion preschool and family daycare for 7 years. My philosophy is a Positive Discipline approach where kindness and love are the principles. I have completed multiple courses that teach from activities in the classroom to social-emotional development. I can help with Swimming Supervision and Crafts. With me, your child can learn Spanish. I am an outdoor person. I like outdoor activities and I strongly believe that children benefit a lot from being outdoors. I am a fun, creative, loving, caring and your child will be safe with me, emotionally and physically.

Rocio was the childcare provider for our son from ages 4-20 months and we couldn't have been happier with our time with her! Rocio has an amazing ability to build a community around the families and children in her care, which not only creates a loving environment for the kids, but also made us feel like a small collective of parents supporting each other. It was so special to walk into daycare every day and see how happy the kids were - singing, dancing, playing and laughing. It's hard to go work every day and leave your kids in someone else's care, but picking them up and seeing how much they're thriving with Rocio made it seem more manageable. Rocio is flexible, supportive, and a tremendous resource for parenting advice due to her extensive background in childcare and her certification as a positive discipline coach. Anyone would be lucky to have Rocio take care of their little ones - I know we were!
