Hello! My name is Sumiko. I'm a bilingual (Japanese and English) caregiver and a proud mom to a toddler. As a parent, I truly understand what it takes to support a child's growth and what families value in someone caring for their little one. I also have experience as a former primary care provider, which has given me a strong understanding of emotional and physical needs and how to support others with compassion and attentiveness. My caregiving style is warm yet structured. I'm empathetic and respectful, while also setting healthy boundaries to help children feel safe, confident, and capable. I encourage kids to think for themselves, express emotions, and--most importantly, have fun through play and exploration!
