About Sumeya

Hello, I'm Sumeya, a student with a deep passion for working with children. My long-term goal is to become a pediatrician, in the meantime, I am gaining hands-on experience as a caregiver. Last year, I worked with Amicable Healthcare as a full-time caregiver for two families and have also assisted children with disabilities. Through these experiences, including caring for infants, I've developed a genuine love for nurturing children in a safe, engaging environment. I am an energetic, physically active person with a strong interest in sports like soccer and biking. Although I have a slight phobia of dogs, I'm actively working on overcoming it and I'm open to working in homes with dogs. I am comfortable with housework and running errands. I hold a valid first aid and CPR certification, ensuring I can respond appropriately in emergency situations. My love for children extends beyond basic care. I also enjoy teaching them creative activities and engaging in outdoor adventures.
