About Sumari

As the oldest of 16 grandchildren all raised within five miles of each other, caring for children has always been a natural part of my life -- from babysitting family members early on to 10 years of professional childcare experience. My childcare career began in a daycare setting, where I cared for children ranging from 3 months to 5 years old, including a child with special needs. I went on to nanny through college and shortly after, building trust with families and providing consistent, attentive care. I also spent some time as a substitute teacher. Beyond childcare, my professional background includes project management and event coordination -- which means I bring real organizational skills to the families I work with. I'm great at managing schedules, planning activities, and keeping things running smoothly, which parents tend to appreciate. I'm currently exploring new professional opportunities and am available and committed to providing quality care in the meantime.
