I have been caring for children for a little over 10 years, supporting more than 20 families through full-time, part-time, and occasional babysitting. I have worked with children from 3 months to 14 years old, and I have also spent time helping at summer camps outside the U. S., which taught me a lot about patience, creativity, and meeting each child where they are.

My goal is always to create a safe, gentle, and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and free to learn and grow. I am reliable, calm, and truly enjoy spending time with kids.

Sukla did an amazing job caring for our infant daughter into her early toddler days. Our daughter adored her and we felt secure knowing Sukla was watching after her. 100% would hire again!

Sukla is the kind of person who has a natural talent with children and observe their worlds with keen eyes and intuitions. She connected with my 1-year daughter immediately after meeting and played well together without my daughter searching for daddy frequently. Through and through Sukla is calm in handling situations and taking intelligent actions. She is also attentive to my daughter's needs, making helpful suggestions and observations. We recommend Sukla without any reservation.

Sukla is a caring and attentive caregiver. She cared for our son when he was about 5 months old. She was the first non-family member to care for him, and he took to her immediately. She was very responsive to any specific needs he had, like getting a certain number of bottles, and she made sure to stimulate him when he was awake with tummy time, trips to the porch, etc. She clearly loves children and has a way with them!

We hired Sukla with less than 24 hour notice and she was wonderful to say the least. She arrived early and was able to stay late as well. My little one loved his time with her and we will for sure hire her again in a heartbeat. She was responsive, respectful and very helpful. Couldn't have asked for a better helper while we were out.

Sukla has been providing care for my 4 month old for a little over a month. Sukla was professional and punctual from the start. She has the patient and kind heart that caregivers should possess. She also comes with a wealth of experience and knowledge that made me feel safe and secure about leaving my baby with her. She does age appropriate activities to engage my baby. Overall, our baby has grown to love Sukla, so we couldn't be happier with our choice to work with her.

Sukla took care of our baby for last 2 weeks. She was wonderful, very engaging with the baby, was able to play and take care of her. Our baby also enjoyed time with her. She was always on time, very sincere and if she was available, we would  hire her again.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Sukla. She took care of my now 26 month old son since he was 9 months old. She's wonderful! I never worried about my son while at work because I knew she kept him safe and happy. She loves children and it is seen through her work. My baby started preschool so she doesn't babysit for us anymore but she calls and visits us time and often and we love how she still cares about us and the baby. My baby has now learned to call her "sukkah." He mumbles her name all the time and absolutely adores her. If I ever have another baby, I would hire her in a heartbeat. She makes our heart happy, to this day. LOVE HER!!

Sukla was punctual and was a good communicator about times/dates. She was kind to our shy little 18 month old, got down on her level and got her interested in playing and reading.

I worked with Sukla for several months. She is very friendly and reliable, especially when it comes to your child's safety. Sukla loves children and cares about them, and my kid loved her. Sukla updated me precisely and honestly of how my kid was doing during the day. I definitely recommend working with her.

Sukla is really wonderful. She is so fun and loving with my one year old. We would love to have her help more and plan to ask her again in the future! I especially appreciate how she asks great questions and really ensures she understands the baby. 

She was very friendly and played very well with my 1 year old. Although he was scared because he has stranger danger she was patient with him which I appreciated very much.

Best babysitter ever! My husband and I work as freelancers and we were in Baltimore for three weeks for work purposes. Sukla was amazing from the beginning to the end. She's very punctual and has a natural love for children. I was so nervous about hiring a babysitter for the first time, and that too, in a different place, but from the instant I met Sukla, she put my nerves at ease. She always reassured us with pictures of my 21 months old and messages while we were working all day. She might not have CPR or First Aid certifications but she has a lot of experiences and knows A LOT more about babies than I do. As much as we loved Baltimore, we loved Sukla more. She is so so wonderful. Highly recommend.

Sukla, I call her Suku out of love. Our family friend recommended her back in June, 2016. Suku has babysat our daughter since she was 18 months old. After I put her in daycare, she cared for my 6-month-old. My 6-month-old is not the easiest to get to sleep and feed but Suku has the best ideas to put him to sleep and also feed him. Lahan smiles whenever he sees Suku. He loves his play time with her. She is always on time, even earlier at times, has fun ideas, and offers help in the housework too. It gives me immense happiness to know my son is in safe hand when I leave home. I am very pleased with her work, and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to hire because will not disappoint you. 



We hired Sukla back in October, 2016 when we were in desperate need of a babysitter. I came across her through sitter city. Even though it was on really short notice, she came through and made it happen. She has been watching my 6 months and 4 year old since then. I feel so lucky to have found Sukla! She is very punctual, reliable, sweet and super friendly and more importantly takes amazing care of my children. My 4 year old still cries when Sukla tries to leave and always asks me when will she babysit them next. They like her the most because she also brings them "toys" ;) I could not think of any other babysitter who would take such incredible care of my children as she does. They absolutely love her and so do I.  Hands down, one of the best babysitter I have worked with. 

Sukla is great with my three year old daughter. When I come home I can tell that my daughter had a great time. Sukla is very sweet, dependable, and responsive.
