About Steven

Experienced educator with 15 years of teaching across PreK-12, specializing in English, writing, study skills, executive functioning, and Yoga Calm for Children. I've taught in private, charter, and religious schools, and a dual diagnosis residential treatment center (ages 13-18) where I was ultimately advanced to department supervisor. I'm skilled supporting diverse learners, including those with attention, behavioral, or confidence challenges. I create calm, structured, engaging sessions tailored to each student's needs. In 2023, I served as a summer waterfront director overseeing aquatic programming and safety for 500+ campers per session. I'm dependable and excellent at building trust. My overarching goal is to create independent, intrinsically motivated, and confident learners. CPR and first aid certifications recently expired-happy to renew if necessary.
