About Steven

Hi! I'm a lifelong animal person with deep experience caring for dogs and cats and more recent experience with horses. I've raised and loved three dogs and four cats of my own, and provided each with gentle, intentional, active, and compassionate care, including end-of-life care. I've been the trusted uncle Steve and go-to sitter for friends' fur babies, including a 60 lbs Samoyed, a 45 lbs shepherd-hound mix, and an Oriental Shorthair cat. I'm comfortable handling dogs of all sizes. I provide calm, reliable in-home care, walks, drop-in visits, light grooming, and enrichment. I groomed my terrier mix regularly for eight years. I'm also a pet photographer with a growing fan base for my portraits! I have beginner-intermediate horse-care experience including grooming, feeding, mucking, leading, and tacking. Animals relax around me. I bring a steady, grounded presence and genuinely enjoy building their trust.
