About Stephen

Hi, I recently graduated with highest honors from the University of Richmond with a B. S. in Chemistry and a minor in Physics. I'm currently taking a gap year while applying to medical school. I've been tutoring for over two years, specializing in science. In addition to tutoring throughout college, I also served as a teaching assistant for two chemistry courses and an MCAT prep class. My strongest subjects include chemistry, biology, physics, and math. These experiences helped me develop a teaching style that's clear, supportive, and adaptable to each student's needs. I truly enjoy making challenging topics feel approachable, and seeing students build both confidence and mastery. The breadth of my education and experience makes me equipped to tutor students from middle school through college in science and math, as well as provide targeted MCAT prep.
