Hello! My name is Rachel and I am looking to help students with their challenging math, science, writing and language courses, including Algebra, Geometry, Trig, Chemistry, English, Latin and Biology. I graduated summa cum laude from Virginia Commonwealth University Honors College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology minoring in Chemistry. I have mentored K-12 public and private school students for three years in AP, Honors and College Prep STEM and writing courses. I worked as a Math tutor at Saint Gertrude High School and as an Organic Chemistry Teaching Assistant at VCU. I am also available to tutor Latin. I am a gold medal recipient on the National Latin Exam and have taken Latin classes at SGHS through Latin 5. I am CPR and AED certified. Session rates are 45 an hour and flexible online tutoring options are available or meeting at your local public library!
