I recently cared two years for my dear friend's mother suffering with dementia, to include her daily living tasks and caring for her home and cat. It was such a pleasure to build the relationship and know that I made a difference day to day, and she did the same for me as well. For a year I have worked as a Concierge at a premier senior living community, giving me a wide breadth of experience. In my spare time I enjoy my two kids and their lives, my two senior rescue dogs, and all things college football! My drive comes from my pride and joy as a stay at home mom as well as the cancer and dementia care given to my own immediate family while I had the opportunity. Caregiving is a true calling. My family had the wonderful opportunity to have Stephanie help our mother as her care giver for 2 years. Finding a person to trust taking care of a family member can be a nerve-racking challenge and our family was so blessed that we had Stephanie to relieve those apprehensions. Stephanie provided a level of care that was truly above and beyond our expectations. She is extremely conscientious, hard-working caring and kind. She provided us with assistance in house-keeping, meal preparation, transportation to appointments, exercise and mental stimulation. My mother (in her 90's) not only had a wonderful care-giver but made a true friend as well.
