About Stephanie

I am a Maryland State Administrator I . I also hold Maryland State Advanced Certification in Elementary Grades 1-6 and Middle School. My certification includes ancillary credits for reading and special education. I currently teach reading and language arts. My current position requires me to develop grade level appropriate instructional program in accordance with the curriculum framework for intermediate age students. I provide classroom instruction and activities in both whole group and small group settings for reading, writing and language arts. I utilize diverse instructional methods and resources to capitalize on various learning modalities and emphasizes individual learning styles and capabilities. I also co-teach with a special educator in my mainstream classroom supporting students with IEPs and 504 plans. I design and evaluate assessment tools.
