About Stacey

Hello my name is Stacey and I'm looking for short-term positions as a Postpartum Doula and/or Mothers Helper. I have many years experience working with children and currently work in a child care center with infants and toddlers. I have had many careers over the years, but working with children and families is my true passion. I'm very nurturing, caring, patient and knowledgeable on typical child development, including what to expect with your newborn and able to offer assistance and support to baby, mom and family. I can help with older children as well and I'm very familiar with multiple approaches to parenting styles including gentle parenting and positive discipline. I also have understanding of normal infant/child sleep patterns and can assist with establishing sleep routines and healthy habits. My goal is to work with parents and older children to help them adjust to having a new baby in the home and offer encouragement and support.
