About Srividya

Hi, I'm Sri, I have 7+ years of experience tutoring elementary, middle and high school students helping them build confidence, sharpen critical thinking, and achieve success. I have an educational and professional background in subject matter that spans quantitative subjects as well as social sciences/liberal arts. I love tutoring because I enjoy guiding students to think critically, communicate effectively, and succeed on their own terms. I always try to help students develop their research skills and ability to ask questions, no matter what subject I am teaching. I believe those are two skills that benefit students no matter what they are learning. I aim to make learning fun, approachable, and confidence-building. Importantly, I work hard to make sure my students never feel ashamed. In my free time, I like to camp, volunteer at the community garden and cook!
