About Spencer

My wife and I work at a clinic supporting children with ADHD and autism, but we did not have enough time left to help our own teen with ADHD. He was falling so far behind that the school asked whether he should repeat ninth grade or enter summer school. We spoke with Spencer before hiring him and immediately saw that he understood how to work with kids like ours. He built a positive bond with our son, kept sessions structured and routine, learned the exact curriculum, and created a plan with clear lessons, goals, breaks, and ongoing assessments. Most tutors never consider assessments as part of their work, and it made a major difference. Within three weeks, everything started changing. We no longer had nightly battles over homework or evenings where we shut off the WiFi just to get assignments done. Our son was not treated like he was lazy or incapable.
