About Akemi
Experience: 1 yr
I'm passionate about unlocking every student's unique potential through personalized support. As a certified teacher with a college degree and one year of experience, I adapt my teaching using visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions. I keep students engaged by connecting challenging topics to their interests. Communication is key, so I build trust with students and parents. Seeing a student's confidence grow is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I'm comfortable with pets and have a car for convenient tutoring at various locations. I would love to help your elementary student succeed in Math, English, Science, Art, Music & Drama, Musical Instruments, or History!
