About Sophie

Working with children has always been something I hoped to pursue long term. My eight years of experience have solidified my commitment to providing children with a safe, stimulating, and happy environment. I have previously worked as a babysitter, lifeguard, camp counselor for kids with disabilities, and Registered Behavior Technician. I enjoy engaging kids with outdoor activities, board games, and educational activities. I am patient, creative, and friendly! I have been trained in first aid and CPR multiple times and hold a RBT certification. I am happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, carpooling, and swimming supervision. I respect and enforce household rules. I am happy to communicate with parents using whatever their preferred method may be. My graduate coursework has further equipped me with tools to understand and support children's development. I look forward to meeting your family and creating a positive, enriching experience for your child!
