About Sophie

Hi parents! My name is Sophie and I am a sophomore at The University of Colorado Boulder, majoring in Psychology, with an interest in Sociology and I will also be receiving a Public Health certificate. I have a kind and understanding nature, and a lot of patience which has always made me a natural caregiver. I have experience with children as young as 1 years old to young teens! My most recent position was caregiving for the sweetest one 1/2-year-old. I prepared meals, changed diapers, read stories, and played! I prioritize interactive play and promoting creativity, as it is a crucial part of development. Being engaged with the children during playtime will be a must! Along with keeping a close eye on her, understanding how quickly children shift from one thing to another. I have been a caregiver for a Mom group (ages 5 and younger) as well. I am sure to follow through parent's expectations for when they come home, and being there to help with homework, etc.
