About Sophia

Hi! My name is Sophia and I graduated from Texas State University with my Bachelor's in English. Over the past year, I've been teaching at the high school level. My experience working with children started with tutoring and substituting at the elementary/middle school age. I later went on to tutor SAT/ACT prep and college courses while being enrolled in undergrad. I have additional experience in the nanny field with children as young as 2 months. I am CPR certified in both adult and infant. I can provide a well-rounded nurturing culture that promotes education first as well as exploring creative activities that are not only fun but, encourage a safe space for the student, or child to naturally be themselves. I've worked with numerous children with diverse backgrounds, providing me with extensive knowledge of childcare and growth/development. Working alongside children for so long has been one of the most rewarding experience and I want to continue to explore that passion.
