About Sophia

I'd describe my personality as warm, creative, and understanding. I like working with kids because they are so authentic and fun! They often remind me to be silly and playful as well as to be kind and helpful. I'm looking for a job that gives me opportunity to grow and learn, while also challenging me in the best way. I started working with kids when I was a teenager myself. I babysat for a family in the neighborhood during summers, for a few years. I then worked straight out of college at a middle/high school as a health educator. After that I was a RBT working with youth with autism. Now, I work at a middle school as an instructional aide to a student with special needs. In my spare time, I make art! One thing you should know about me is I am very patient. My skills include empathy, safety, and creativity. I am always kind and caring and make sure to communicate well with parents, children, etc. Creativity and humor are some of my best and most relevant traits.
