About Sofia

Hi! My name is Sofia, and I'm a dedicated caregiver with over 10 years of experience working with children of all ages, from infants and toddlers to middle and high school students. I minored in Education and completed two AmeriCorps teaching internships, where I taught middle school math, English, and music. I've also been a tutor for 6+ years in math, English, music theory, and Spanish. I have extensive experience caring for infants, toddlers, and elementary-aged children in daycare settings and individual settings. I am certified in Pediatric and Adult First Aid/CPR through the Red Cross. I also work as a piano teacher and love incorporating creativity through music, arts and crafts, and outdoor play. As a caregiver, I value structure while creating a calm, playful, and supportive environment. I believe finding a balance is so important. I'm conversational in Spanish and enjoy building meaningful connections with the families I work with!
