About Sophia
Experience: 2 yrs
Hi! My name is Sophia, and I recently graduated from Boston University with a degree in neuroscience. I am excited to help your child excel in math, science, and English. I have two years of paid tutoring experience, ranging from the elementary level through university. My favorite part about working with students is finding creative ways to explain challenging concepts and making learning more engaging. My goal is for students to develop a stronger understanding of the material and for that progress to translate into improved schoolwork and grades. I can also share practical study tips and test-taking strategies that I have picked up throughout my own academic experience.
