Hi my name is Sophia! I love the outdoors, learning new things and meeting new people :) I am the 3rd born in a family of 7! I grew up taking care of kids of all ages, especially newborns and toddlers. As I got older, I began to babysit/nanny regularly and in the fall of 2020 I joined a childcare company in San Antonio, TX. Once graduating high school, I was employed by several families to be a private tutor. I've worked with different families from a span of 6months to a year and a half :) Desiring to expand my experience and skills within the sphere of childcare and early education, I earned an RBT certification and have been employed by an ABA clinic for the past year. P. S: I've been playing piano since the age of 6! I've worked for a countless number of families as a private piano teacher and am currently open for students :) As music is one of my many passions, it's been a blessing and joy to teach and share it with others! There are not enough words to how amazing Sophia was to our family!! I wanted a nanny for our newborn. I wasn't comfortable with day care. I worked from home and Sophia came into our home and watched our baby while I worked. Sophia helped our new born to sleep by using different methods of taking contact walks to get her to sleep. I also strictly nursed because our daughter wouldn't initially take a bottle. Sophia kept our daughter content and happy until time came for me to nurse but also successfully got her to start taking small amounts from the bottle. Sophia would do tasks around the home while our daughter napped. For example: clean our home, vacuum, organized my stored breastmilk by date, and even put together a family photo albumn. So thankful! Sophia even rode with me to the hospital when I had to work on campus one time. I wish I could have taken her with me when we had to move. If you book with Sophia, you will absolutely not regret it! She set our standards so high, and it has been difficult to find help as thoughtful, considerate, and reliable as Sophia. Our family misses Sophia so much! ❤️
