About Sophia

Hello, My name is Sophia and I am looking to care for some awesome kids. I started as a babysitter at age 13, and at 20 started my part time Nanny career. I'm working towards my graduate degree at the University of Washington. I have experience with kids as young as 4 months and as old as 15 years. I'm comfortable with and have experience with wake ups, getting ready, meals, drop offs, pick ups, bath time, bed time, formula/breast milk feeding routines, diaper changes, homework help, and more! At age 14, I started as a Ski Instructor and Race Coach, and held that position for 10 years. In that position I worked with children from three to 15 years old. I enjoy spending time with children, whether it's arts and crafts at home, exploring the zoo, combing the beach, or singing along in the car, kids bring me joy! I believe that every child learns and communicates differently, and figuring that out is key to caring for them and making it a good experience for child, nanny, and parents.
