About Sophia

Hi! My name is Sophie, and I'm a student at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, studying Communication Studies. Before changing my major, I studied Early Childhood Development because I've always loved working with kids! I have experience with children through volunteering with the children's ministry at SHC, working at P3SC. I also previously worked as a lifeguard, which taught me the importance of safety, responsibility, and staying attentive while supervising children. I'm dependable, caring, patient, and outgoing, and I love actually interacting with the kids I'm watching! I'm happy to play outside, do arts and crafts, play games, help with homework, watch movies, or come up with fun activities based on their interests. I'm also comfortable with pets and helping with routines, meals, and bedtime. My goal is to be someone parents can trust and their kids are excited to see!
