About Sophia

I am a Certified Art Life Coach, 250 hour yoga teacher. My care style integrates art therapy tools and mindfulness. I have over 8 years caring for kids from infancy- pre-teens. In the past few years, I have cared for an infant from 4mo-8mo, a 3-year-old, and also have been a summer camp guide for 4-6-year-olds. I strongly emphasize the use of gentle parenting techniques that affirm and empower children's emotions. I am very interested in and use Montessori home learning and teaching skills. Childcare is my passion and I love to make space where the child is their own leader, while also making a fun and creative environment for them to play in. I'm looking for consistent and occasional opportunities My rate is $25+, depending on needs. Flexible for each family Safe space for lgbtqia/ queer families and kids ( I use they/she pronouns) Also good with any pets!
