My brief description about myself. Graduated from San Jose State in 2012 with a bachelors in sociology criminology. I am also a swimming coach for all ages and I've been at my current job for past 20 years. I'm a fun-loving babysitter. I simply enjoy spending time with children. I pride myself on being able to play and act goofy with the kids, yet still have them listen and respect me. I love taking children to interactive camp; fun activities such as the park, zoo, plays, etc. I can also spend the day at home coloring, dancing, and playing eye spy. It is very easy for me to connect with kids of all ages. Keeping the child well-being is something I take very seriously. I am a healthy balance of an easy going/patient attitude, and assertive when needed. I understand the importance of my role, and I am willing to take on that responsibility. Sonja was great! We were looking for a regular babysitter and she was proactive, good at communicating before and while watching our kids. We chatted on the phone before she came to watch them and we received regular updates from her and tips that allowed us to better enjoy our date night. She left our home cleaner than she found it, made the kids dinner, snacks and even brownies which my daughter loved. The girls were bathed and clearly had a good time, which was a relief but also unsurprising that Sonja was a natural. We're looking forward to having her around regularly.
