I'm looking for a job that lets me spend quality one on one time with seniors who are in need of companionship. I started caring for seniors in 2020. It was near the start of the COVID-19 lockdowns and I worked in the activities department in a Memory Care building. While not a caregiver, I often had to assist with dressing and feeding and was responsible for their well-being outside of medical care. I've spent time in Skilled Nursing and got my Advanced Activity Professional certification last year. I'm currently a Lifestyle Director at an Assisted Living Community responsible for 70+ residents. In my spare time, I like to play board games and D&D, work on crafts, listen to music, read and spend time at Woodland Park Zoo. One thing you should know about me is that I always put the best interests of the senior first.
