About Soleyana

Learning is a journey, and I am passionate about guiding students every step of the way. I graduated from college with honors and will be attending graduate school in Washington, DC. For four years at summer camp, I taught children the Amharic language and supported students who were falling behind. I stayed after camp, met with families, and provided extra help because I believe every student deserves patience, encouragement, and individualized support. I create engaging and supportive learning environments by adapting to each student's needs through visual aids, hands on activities, and discussion. I value open communication with parents and always put students first. Having experienced challenges in learning myself, I understand how powerful the right support can be. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a student gain confidence and experience that moment when everything clicks. I would love to help your child grow, succeed, and find joy in learning.
