About Jacob

Hello potential clients! Over the past decade I have had plenty of experience working with children in a variety of settings. Before and during college I was a camp counselor as well as party planner for children's birthdays. These experience helped guide me towards an education degree from Oregon State University. When I graduated in 2014. I have taught 5th grade and produced some of the top scores in my district. My teaching mindset has always been to develop trust and communication so that the student can feel comfortable to take charge of their own learning. During my teaching career I also coached boys flag football, soccer, basketball, and softball. 2020 has defiantly changed my teaching style but has only strengthened my belief that when students believe in their learning they are capable of amazing things. During the pandemic I went back to Graduate School to the University of Southern California. I received my Masters of Education with a focus on School Counseling.
