About Sofia

I am currently a student at UTSA studying elementary education & English as a second language. I have 9 years experience volunteering with kids camps, tutoring, & babysitting. I'd describe my personality as energetic, patient, and kind. I like tutoring because I enjoy helping kids become confident in their educational abilities and watching them grow in comprehension with each session. I'm looking for a job that is consistent and fosters a positive environment for everyone I started tutoring when I was in high school with students in kindergarten to 2nd grade. In my spare time, I like to hike with my dog and be present with my friends. One thing you should know about me is it's my passion to watch kids grow and succeed and I will always be their biggest encourager to do so. My skills include patience, the ability to look at problems from a multitude of angles, and the ability to create a safe learning environment for students of all ages.
