I have worked with my mother for four years without any previous experience. Mom was diagnosed with Dimentia symptoms and lived with this symptom for 4 years. I took care of all her daily activities and well-being. Duties are bathing, preparing food, doctors' appointments, medication management, Social Service appointment, Medicade follow-up and appointments, booking her transportation ride, and arranging family visits, emotional support, and companionship. As a professional caregiver, I have worked with many seniors who have been diagnosed with many kinds of cognitive disorders. Currently, I'm working with 20 years old young girl with Ritt syndrome.
