About Michael

I'll start with my most recent job. I was caregiving for a very dear family friend, 92, and her 63-year-old special needs son from December 2019 to July 2021. She is wheelchair bound. I'd take her grocery shopping (the highlight of her week), to Medical, Dental, Eye glass appointments, pick up prescriptions. We discuss current events and I watch the news with her. During the Summer and Fall, I would invite a few of her close neighbors and friends for lunch or dinner outside. She is very social. I still visit but she needs a 24/7 female caregiver now. I've worked in the hospitality, senior living and food service industry. Seniors are my passion from an early age caring for my Grandfather, then both my parents. I've worked at a local Assisted Living facility and at Greenspring Senior Living.
