About Michael

I'll start with my most recent job. I am caring for a friend's 88-year-old father with dementia 2 days a week. Prior to that I was caregiving for a very dear family friend, 92, (she was a friend of 45 years) and her 63-year-old special needs son from December 2019 to July 2021. She was wheelchair bound at that point. I'd take her grocery shopping (the highlight of her week), to Medical, Dental, Eye glass appointments, pick up prescriptions. We'd discuss current events and I would watch the news with her. I would invite her friends to visit. She passed 3 years ago. I also helped care for my Grandfather, Mom, Dad and great Aunt. I've worked in the hospitality, senior living and food service industry. Seniors are my passion from an early age caring for my Grandfather, then both my parents, and a great Aunt. I worked as an orderly in college. I've worked at a local Assisted Living facility and at Greenspring Senior Living in food service. Many references available upon request.
