About Sofia

Sofia was the best nanny for my two children. She watched them for about 10 months . She was very patient, kind, and reliable. She was perfectly calm but firm with my 4 yr old son who tends to have big feelings and tantrums. He behaved better with Sofia than other nannies because Sofia had a way of promoting healthy boundaries while staying positive and kind. She was very caring, playful, and attentive with my 1 1/2 yr old daughter. Whenever I asked Sofia to do something, she listened and paid attention to the details. I trusted her because she was very careful and detail- oriented. For example, she was careful not to let my daughter play with her older brother’s small toys that were choking hazards. Also, she cut up my daughter’s food into small pieces suitable for a 1 yr old. She was a good driver and was good at using our car seats, so I was comfortable with her picking up my son up from preschool and summer camp in the afternoons. She was punctual and dependable and didn’t call out of work often. My parents would come by to see the kids, and they loved Sofia. She is great with animals and watched our dog while we were on vacation. When my son was at school and my daughter was napping, Sofia helped with other things around the house such as tidying the toys. She did fun crafts with the kids, read to them, and took them for walks. We would have kept her long term if possible, but our situation changed and we needed a nanny with different availability. We will definitely miss Sofia and hopefully she can keep seeing the children for occasional date nights.
