About Skylar

Hi! I'm Skylar. I was adopted at age 2 and grew up in a home that welcomed many foster children and babies, which gave me years of hands-on childcare experience. Living with dyslexia taught me perseverance-I graduated from Allatoona High School, where I was in the marching band, and now attend Georgia Highlands College, working toward my dream of becoming a NICU physical therapist. I'm patient, responsible, and passionate about creating a safe, loving space for every child. I'd describe my personality as energetic, joyful, and hard-working. I started working with kids when I started as a mother's helper when I was 12 and have been babysitting ever since. In my spare time, I like to help out with my high school's marching band/color guard, hanging out with friends and family, and especially going to the Georgia aquarium.
