About Skylar

I have experience supporting students through tutoring and educational outreach. In high school, I volunteered as a tutor, helping students understand coursework, stay organized, and prepare for exams. I focused on breaking down material into simpler steps and adjusting explanations based on each student's needs. In college, I have been involved a club that go into local schools to teach STEM lessons. In those settings, I work with groups of students to explain concepts in a clear and engaging way and help them stay involved in the activities. These experiences have given me practice communicating ideas, working with different age groups, and supporting students as they learn.
