About Deborah

I am passionate about tutoring! I have a BA in elementary education, and 35 years of experience in a variety of teaching environments. My career spans private and public classroom education, special education tutoring, online tutoring, curriculum development, and serving as a reading specialist. I have experience with traditional and gifted students, as well working with students with autism, dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia. I also have 25 years of experience as a successful home educator, including creating an academic homeschool support group for over 100 students K-12. I am currently employed part time as a middle school ESL tutor for a non-profit in Omaha. I am a mom of 7, including 3 adopted children. I love to work with students of all ages and abilities, and have a very individualized, compassionate, and encouraging approach to tutoring.
