About Skylar

I started working with kids about 6 years ago when I was 14! In my spare time, I love to go hiking with my dogs, go kayaking, do yoga, and just spend time outside! One thing you should know about me is I am super flexible and pretty much always have an open schedule! I understand sometimes things can come up quickly so I am always happy to help even when it's short notice! One of my top child care skills is that I am super attentive! Your child and their safety will always be my top priority and focus when I am watching them. My second top child care skill is that I am patient and a great communicator. Along with keeping great communication with parents, I understand that children can also have tough moments and need patience and good communication! My third top child care skills would be creativity and making a fun environment for kids! I am great at thinking of fun activities, crafts, and games to keep kids busy and enriched in their surroundings!
