About Skylar

My name is Skylar, and I am a graduate from Tulane with Latin Honors and a BA in Political Economy. I have three years of tutoring experience across elementary, middle, and high school levels. I specialize in English (writing and reading comprehension), social studies, and foundational math, including pre-algebra and Algebra 1., I provide homework support and have created customized learning plans tailored to each student's curriculum and needs. I also mentor high school students through the college application process, offering detailed feedback to refine personal statements and supplemental essays. As both a tutor and a sister to two brothers with learning disabilities, I have firsthand experience supporting students with ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, and those on the spectrum.
