About Skylar

Hello! My name is Skylar, and I am eager to connect with families in Austin seeking a less-than-full-time nanny, babysitter, or house manager this fall! I am a 25-year-old career nanny with about 6 years of experience working for private families. I have a diverse range of experience working with kids aged 7weeks -12 years, and my caregiving style is one that encourages curiosity led play and learning but also incorporates structure (generally I like to help children prioritize reading, exercise, and water consumption) but I am always open to discussing unique needs! I've had positions range from full time childcare to ones that include house cleaning or virtual assistant work. I have a bachelors degree in English and Creative writing with a minor in communication studies, and have experience planning and conducting creative writing lessons to elementary aged students as well.
