About Skylar

Hi! My name is Skylar, and I am an Elementary Education student passionate about helping children learn, grow, and feel confident in their abilities. I have passed all required credential exams for my program and will be completing my student teaching experience this fall as I finish my degree to become an elementary teacher. I have experience working with children ages 3-12 in classroom and after-school settings, supporting students with reading, writing, math, homework help, and building strong learning habits. Through my education coursework and field experience, I have learned how to create engaging lessons, adapt instruction to meet each child's needs, and provide a patient and encouraging learning environment. I believe every child learns differently, and my goal is to make tutoring a positive experience while helping students improve their skills and confidence. I am reliable, responsible, and excited to help your child reach their academic goals!
