About Marlene

Unlocking a student's unique potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With a year of experience supporting elementary learners in English, I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for discovery. I assess your child's needs by observing how they interact with new material, then adapt my approach using visual aids, hands-on activities, and open communication. When concepts become challenging, I break them into manageable steps and connect lessons to personal interests to maintain momentum. I believe clear, consistent communication with families is essential to creating a collaborative environment where students thrive. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. I am eager to support your child's academic journey and look forward to celebrating their progress as they master new skills.
