About Skylah

Hi! My name is Skylah, and I'm a patient and creative tutor with a passion for helping students feel confident and supported in their learning. While I'm just getting started with academic tutoring, I have paid experience teaching dance to children ages 4 to 12, and I've spent years helping my four nieces and nephews with their homework and speech development. I graduated high school in just 2. 5 years at age 16 and began community college shortly after. My favorite subjects are English and social studies-areas where I feel especially excited to help students improve and succeed. Outside of school, I'm a dancer and a big fan of arts and crafts, and I love bringing creativity into my teaching style. Whether it's academic or artistic, I believe learning should be engaging, encouraging, and tailored to each student's unique needs.
