About Skye

I'd describe my personality as silly, excited, and patient! I like tutoring because it feels healing for my younger self who didn't believe I was capable. I'm looking for a job that is going to help prepare me for being a teacher one day and that can help me pay for my schooling now! I started tutoring a few years ago when college math really started to click for me and I realized that there might be a need for people like me to explain difficult concepts in a different way! In my spare time, I like to cook, spend time with my husband and dog (Annie!), do artsy things, make music, watch movies and play games! One thing you should know about me is I believe anyone can do math and I will do my best to help your student believe in their ability to do math! My top 3 tutoring skills are: patience, understanding of what it's like to be a student with ADHD, and pride. I am proud of what I have been able to do and hope to instill that same pride in all of my students!
